EVENTS:

Saturday 23 May 2009. A seminar on the business of death: arranging for the afterlife in Ptolemaic Egypt.
Tickets: £20 (EES members), £15 (EES student associate members)

Wednesday 3 June 2009. Beheira Survey: New light on old discoveries in the Western Delta of Egypt. A lecture by Mohammed Kenawi.
Tickets: Entry is free of charge but numbers are limited to 20 so application for tickets as normal is required.

Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 June 2009. Annual two-day conference, New Explorations: the EES in 2009.
Tickets: £65 (EES members), £75 (non-members) Students: NOW ONLY £30 (EES members) or £35 (non-members).
Tickets include entry to a reception in the Brunei Suite, SOAS on the Saturday evening.

Saturday 4 July 2009. “Fishing for Statues”: a seminar on new research into the Karnak cachette.
Tickets: £20 (EES members), £15 (EES student associate members)

CONFERENCE TICKETS include refreshments in the morning and afternoon. Lunch is not included but there are many restaurants/cafés on Southampton Row, just a few minutes walk from SOAS.

SEMINAR TICKETS are available to members only and include tea/coffee on arrival and in the afternoon. Lunch is not included but there are many restaurants/cafés in the nearby Lambs Conduit Street and Grays Inn Road. Members may also bring packed lunches to eat in the Office.
