Jean Thornton Scholarship

Jean Thornton was a tireless real estate educator for the state of Oklahoma. OKCMAR was proud to call Jean a primary member! Jean was also an OAR Lifetime Member and OKCMAR REALTOR of the Year. The OKCMAR 3rd Floor large classroom has been dedicated to Jean and is named after her. Jean believed that REALTORS were professionals whose investment in education served the public consumer of real estate services.

The Thornton family created an educational trust at OKCMAR to further REALTOR education. The scholarship may be used for GRI and other REALTOR designations.
