Job seekers looking for work through the CareerLink system may be eligible for On-the-Job Training (OJT) funds. Through an OJT, a new hire/employee has an opportunity to learn job skills at the place of employment in accordance with a training plan designed by the Employer. The Employer receives up to fifty percent reimbursement of the hourly wages paid to the employee, for up to six months. The result is an employee trained specifically to the Employer’s standards.

Customized Industry Training programs may be developed for a cohort group of similar unemployed workers. These training programs can be tailored to be industry-specific and can include skills-upgrading opportunities or occupational credentialing. Your detailed response here will be helpful; your response, coupled with another from a similar industry, may result in an identified Customized Industry Training program that may be developed.
