FormSpring Overview
Form Builder
The simple drag and drop interface of our online form builder allows you to easily create an HTML form and add any type of form element (e.g. Text fields, email field, file upload). Using the tools on the left hand side, you can manage your field types, add sections, and rearrange your fields.
The navigation at the bottom of the web form generator allows you to customize the "submit" button, include a page progress indicator, add a captcha, create a multi column form, and select more layout options.
Settings
Within your form's settings, you'll begin to see the distinct power of FormSpring. Here you can control your notification and confirmation email settings, integrate your forms with our multiple payment options, and control your security settings. You can also manage how you route data from your forms once a user submits them via our Smart Routing functionality.
Data
The real power of any online data collection tool is, of course, the data. With FormSpring you can quickly view, sort, and search the information you have gathered. You can create saved searches, and share that data with others.
Download your data to Excel or Word using our integrated export tools. For advanced users we also provide an API that can be used to integrate with third party applications or with your internal database.
Use
Manage how you integrate your form with your website, and use our Form Forwarding feature to transfer and fill in form data from one form to another or to other websites.
URL Link: The URL Link provides an easy way to link from your web page to your form with little effort. You can use style templates to match your form to the unique look and feel of your website.
JavaScript: Every form that you create automatically generates a bit of code called JavaScript. You can copy this code and paste it into your website so that the form can be simply embedded right into your web page. One of the additional benefits of using the JavaScript tool is that any changes you make to your form will automatically update so you never have to touch the code again!
HTML: We also give you full access to the form HTML. This is particularly useful to advanced users who may want to change the HTML – offering a bit more control of the look and feel of the form.
